  • The modern Planet Oceans are solid, beautifully built, and impressively precise. As a flagship Omega, this Planet Ocean lives up to its billing: ceramic bezel insert; ceramic dial; robust bezel ratchet, white gold hands and indices; capable of running better then -1/+1 seconds per day based on my experience. If you're at peace with the thickness of the cases, the Planet Oceans can eclipse the appeal of Rolex's Sea-Dwellers.

  • Technically superior to Rolex they somehow have minimal appeal to me, i cannot pin it down, maybe because they are too big, I don't want a boat anchor on my wrist or a dinner plate. Only one i might buy is the 43mm titanium.

  • You forgot the promised lume shot lol
